Movie Review: Burn After Reading

The Coen brothers return to their madcap antics reminiscent of 1996's "Fargo" in this dark comedy. The strong cast has solid performances, and Brad Pitt stands out as a lovably idiotic gym trainer.

The incestuous relationships among all of the main characters will keep you tuned in to each new plot twist. For me, the main take-home messages included:
  • bureaucracy = inefficiency
  • philandering = normalcy
  • blackmail = stupidity
If you're looking for a fun film to fill an afternoon, don't miss "Burn After Reading." It's a breath of fresh air after the complex and disturbing themes of last year's "No Country for Old Men."

SSS: Keeping up with the step aerobics and kickboxing. Can't say that it's been EVERY day, though. I'm considering the possibility of a personal trainer next month, salary and schedule willing.
