On the way to work the other day, spied a quizzical English error on a placard outside a local elementary school."9/22 PTA Nigth"
Um, hunh? That's not really a common error per se. I'm used to the your/you're and its/it's type of mistakes, but this? Maybe the person putting up the individual letters had a little too much the nigth before.
I'm pretty sure whoever is in charge of the large, very visible sign outside of the school is an adult/staff member. Makes me feel realllly confident about the schooling of our youngsters here in Amerikuh.
