This Land is Your Land

Yogurtland lives up to the hype. I finally visited one last night, and am now kicking myself for taking so long to get there.

I think my initial aversion to the place was because my first part-time job was working at Penguin's...a frozen yogurt place popular in the late '80s/early '90s. Anyone looking for an interesting story, ask me how I got fired from this place.

I also avoided the 'Land because the only location I knew was across from my campus, and it always had a line out the door. This was a good sign, and I finally understand why.

A new shop opened in my hometown, and I was pleased with what I found. So many choices of self-serve flavors, plus a delicious array of fresh fruit garnishes for the health conscious.

I've already decided what I'll get next time, which I bet will be in less than a week: matcha yogurt with adzuki beans on top. Is this heaven or what?

Today's obsession: Timing my trips to the bathroom at home to coordinate with the painting going on in the room with our only working toilet.
