What, me crazy?

Yesterday’s car problem solved by Triple A…yeah! Was able to get to my blood work appointment this morning in Westminster no problem. It’s almost two years since I’ve been receiving help through the Adult Mental Health Services in Orange County, and some things never change.

Their service is of three kinds: slow, slower, and slowest. Waited for 1 hour today, despite being early and signing in as the third person to have blood work done.

Guess I shouldn’t complain, though. I’m getting my services for virtually free, and there’s always interesting people milling about the area since the office shares its lobby with the drug and alcohol counseling center. As an added bonus, the courts in Westminster are in the same parking lot, so it’s a smorgasbord of deviancy any time I visit.

Today’s obsession: Diagnosing the possible mental maladies of the poor saps who are waiting along with me to see their counselors. It’s always a mixed bag—my guesses today included: depression, schizophrenia and anxiety disorder.
