It’s okay. You know you like it. You won’t go blind, or even grow hair on your palms. In fact, after a long hiatus, I did it too. Nothing could be more self-satisfying or narcissistic.
How often do you Google yourself on the Internet? For those of you who have common names, it might not be that exciting, but I always come up with interesting hits.
Somehow, an article I wrote for my college newspaper in 2002 ended up on the BG News site, run out of Bowling Green, Ohio. Pretty random. It’s a piece detailing my experience, or lack thereof, of the aftermath of 9/11 while studying abroad.
